The magazine scene is different, in the manga, she freely let the mercenaries, mostly Zepp, have it for free. And then they've sold it to a noble for a huge sum (7 gold) and got new weapons and gears. Mitsuha noticed, and they eventually told her and apologized to her. She wasn't mad, but she begrudgingly ask them that dinners on them.
I think they've cut it out, cause it's inappropriate or time to animate the whole extra scene.
Chapter 21 manga/comics

Jullian J. Weskier • 1 year ago

Ya, it was cut for time most likely. Its a side path that wouldnt have made much difference anyway.

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

Read the manga, it was... kinda boring tbh. Anime isn't bad for a relaxing anime.

The tea scene reminded me of a time I was offered tea in Pakistan and they had green tea, which is unusual. So I asked for it and they laughed at me, explaining that green tea is the weak tea. Which then they proceeded to pour a ton of sugar and milk into their chi.

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

I don't know if it's about inappropriate when they literally introduced porn magazine in anime lmao.

Rudino • 1 year ago

It's not porn- per se, it's Gravure. Basically Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, but Japanese and questionable... poses.

its soft core porn dont make excuses. also girls 15 and under

Satsuki Shizuka • 1 year ago

Too soon to tell, maybe it'll be covered in the next ep or two.

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

thanks for specifying which chapter the manga covered....
any other content worth mentioning that was cut?

yeah. that sounds more consistent with mitsuha's characterization so far of "how can i get profit out of this?"

For those mercenaries that magazine must be equivalent to watching 4k porn.

AI generated photorealistic HDR 8000k VR porn.

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

She actually sells it to them in the Manga for silver and they turn around and sell it to a noble for gold. She gets really depressed that they made more money than she has made from her store.

OK I'm saitaman • 1 year ago

Lol sounds like Mitsuha

BlazedSpaceViking420 • 1 year ago

Yeah imagine you only have church paintings, sculptures or have dem highly time-consuming monks make illustration for the bible fx and then seeing something so lifelike haha

Bees • 1 year ago

Yeah, but nude paintings were pretty common back then. Of course the cost of a painting is enormous, but the content shouldn't be that surprising.

BlazedSpaceViking420 • 1 year ago

True dat, humans have always made pornographic content, but there is still a world of difference from a lifelike painting from fx 1700s and a modern magazine.

frentzy • 1 year ago

the paintings are trash compared to pictures of real females. Try fap to a painting from 1000y ago

Merlin Hans Hiiekivi • 1 year ago

My first wank was over picture of antique sculpture 😜

Yikes

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

Think of it as the diff of when you saw a movie when you were younger compared to now some special effects back then were mindblowing and looked supergood and today u can see the same scene and go damn that looks so fake or bad compared to smt wellmade today

Swimsuits are normal to wear ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Krenz-Gun • 1 year ago

Yep. Only this world, but not isekai world.

Monkey D. Luna • 1 year ago

It's not too late to introduce it to them. Make it everyday wear there.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

BlazedSpaceViking420 • 1 year ago

Pleasure to make your acquaintances fellow cultured gentlemen!

oh ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Krenz-Gun • 1 year ago

But there has none nearby beach where for to sale swimsuits, Mitsuha need own beach area, but not this S1. She get this beach and entire province at S2.

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

Ero Books are also normal to sell. In fact Mitsuha would have higher profit margins introducing a dvd player and AV. Along with Ero Manga/Books. Once technology catches up in their time period. I would introduce Mitsuha Ero Hub and introduce bronze/silver/gold tier subscriptions. Mitsuha has now secured cash flow instead of 1x purchases and all that plastic waste she introduces.

Also everybody knows Sex sells. She dont even need to do research study like she did for the adventurers. Proof, Gogo community. Top tags and terms in comments: Ecchi, Uncensored. Booba, anime tiddies, seggs, Cultured. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Also if Mitsuha decides to go into the arms business she will be opening pandoras box. Introducing firearms into an unregulated society. Imagine a bandit stole or looted a firearm. He just became the most dangerous NPC that could kill your typical kingdom knight or soldier and subjugate a town.

Like with every new item introduced. There will be new statistics and ways to get injured or killed. Introducing cars would lead to increase in injury and deaths by vehicles and guns would lead to increased banditry. Hell I know I would if it was available.

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

Her world is too convenient for her tho. This kinda bugs me a lot. No way other bad nobles wouldn't take interest in Mitsuha's no-source strange merchandise when she made a grand entrance there, which should lead to looting when she wasn't at her shop or at the very least they will set up spies on her. But everything is too calm. And she keep introducing new things that probably shouldn't be there when she already have things that can easily sell in high price already.

Introduce firearms there will only give military a lot of attention, which lead to war in the future, it will only destroy her retire life in the future, since it can pretty much take over a kingdom easily with it. And people can easily kill and rob from people and nobles, since they literally said it's hard for mercenaries like them to do this job. Mitsuha made a lot of mistakes, but her world will move around her to make it convenient for her. Everytime i watched this show, i was like please please please don't introduce new thing lmao. Sometime she gotta balance thing out. It's too greedy of her.

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Agreed. Plus the way Mitsuha goes about things, including introducing new stuff makes her unlikable.

Heck, they even had her spend hours of research, only to forget that next episode when they had her throw random stuff inside her shop and act surprised when nobody save for 3 girls came in.

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

I mean the firearm needs ammo tho ammo that they still cant make or replicate yet altho they could sell the gun itself to a blacksmith that in turn could dissasemble it and make blueprints for all parts etc aswell as getting the base tech for firearms that would launch the warfare tech to be way ahead of its time once its more well known

rather braindead guns stay out

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

The item in of itself is neither inherently good nor evil on its own. Fire/Electricity can certainly cause mass-destruction, but, simultaneously, they can also provide warmth/comfort to multitudes. The real issue would be more along the lines of whether people are mentally stable enough to use high-powered items without abusing them and also the other combination of having enough knowledge about how to use such tools/equipment in a safe manner at all times (people «driving» without proper knowledge/experience/training will most-certainly make mistakes about how much «control/traction» they really have in conditions of rain/snow/et-cetera, and, invariably, get into accidents as a result, sometimes even of the fatal-nature).

Guns cannot kill on their own; someone is required to activate the trigger (not counting para-normal or other similar reasons). Nuclear-Weapons cannot wipe out populations on their own; several people are required to activate the Nuclear-Code (for at least with Russia they require 3 people to authorise its use; for the U.S. it seems that a U.S. President has access to Nuclear-Codes due to U.S. Presidency having a Security Clearance of Level 17 which is Access to Nuclear-Codes; altogether there seems to be a total of 36 Levels of Security Clearances). The big problem in societies really has more to do with humanity's refusal to learn from history in conjunction with public willful-ignorance which only makes it extremely easy for them to be manipulated by the social-engineering that was historically called propaganda...

Plot-Twist : The government becomes the bandits... like the average modern-day cop.

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

Thing is tho that guns were made to kill same with grenades and nukes so u introduce a product that is made to kill and think that they will use it differently even tho history has shown us the opposite

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Such intentions are certainly terrible, but, TNT is more-often used for land-scaping purposes than to blow up crowds... probably. Whilst you are here, how-ever, you would be doing me and the world a great favour by mentioning the fact that we've had 70+ years worth of technological-advancements (supposedly) and scientific-progress (supposedly) just out of America (just one country alone not even counting other countries), therefore, the levels-of-productivity should be so sky-high that it should be extremely easy to provide for the whole entire world-population, such that «poverty» should be non-existent, nobody needs to be homeless, even crimes should be a thing of the past, yet, here we are. Whilst I am not necessarily holding my breath, considering that history has taught us that people just do not learn or even out-right refuse to learn from history, a few people at every location talking about this in rational-terms should at least prompt some of the normies towards trying to steer the course in a direction that is not the self-destruction of civilisation...

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

In what way should the 70+ years of tech improvment lead to that poverty should be easy to fix? Even if we can massproduce stuff then some1 has to gather the materials and some1 has to refine it etc and again if we look at history as u like then we can see that its more or less impossible for every1 to be equal some ppl will always be able to get more then others either by luck or due to them trying to get more altho idk wtf that has to do with any of the things i wrote before and tnt wasnt made for war if nobel is to be believed but it was still used in war aswell as the evolution of warfare due to its capabilities so thats just enforcing my point that guns will be used to kill of stuff that originaly wasnt meant to kill is being used in that way then stuff like guns or weapons in general will be that weapons that r used to kill and saying that guns aint evil is like trying to deflect it like if its not a weapon in the first place like what r u gonna use the gun for if not to shoot? Gonna use it as an oar or smt?

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

War is not waged solely on a battle-field; people have no idea that there are on-going wars, revolving around different varieties, such as economic, socio-political-controls, mass-psychological (i.e. : social-engineering... historically called propaganda), and, for people who have read The Committee of 300 .pdf (yes, such a publication exists in PDF-format, also along with another comprehensive work called : Fruits of a Poisonous Tree), they necessarily are compelled to consider, when weighing all of the evidence, that it may as well be called an alien-agenda (religious people might term it a demonic-agenda)... I could certainly mention more, but, pull up the Lacerta-Interview and listen to it in its entirety... a couple dozen times at minimum of course since there is a lot to absorb and contemplate from its contents... then it will be easier to dialogue on a similar page about the fact that the human-species really is caught up in-between wars that are much bigger than just merely Patriots versus Deep-State...

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

Still has nothing to do with my post u r just talking about why war happends and not the fact that ppl use guns mainly to kill...

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

I cannot disagree with that when it comes to cops...

nope. guns are inherently bad
